There can be only one.

It is with great pleasure and almost literally no significance (especially with the amount my hit rate has gone down since Conference - come baaaaack!!!) in the wider world at all that I am pleased to endorse Osama Saeed to be the next MP for Glasgow Central.

To take a quick glance towards Facebook, now 'the fastest growing social networking site in the world', the Osama Saeed group, which is three days old, is now at 100 members and snapping at the heels of the 110-strong and months-old Anas Sarwar group. I would love to have something much more representative and scientific, but right now that's all I've got short of phoning the two people in my mobile phone who live in the constituency and are not actually SNP members. If anyone would like to pay for a large amount of telephone calls to find out more details, I'm sure all major credit cards can be accepted by Glasgow Central SNP...

And the candidate? Osama is passionate, articulate and principled (- i.e. he agreed with me in that vote I lost at Conference). He knows his issues better than anyone else I've encountered, and while it would be easy to describe his work in pigeonhole terms, anyone who does so will be confounded. Don't embarrass yourselves. This will be a true battle royale without any unwanted spins being put on it by anyone.

In the mean time and for no particular reason, here's a cat. Awww.

Saeed's a proven liar, dissembler and a Muslim Brotherhood stooge. If this is what the SNP are offering the people of Scotland, they're in a lot of trouble.

Anonymous trolling. A landmark day for this blog. Thank you.
